Jak přidat novou spouštěcí položku operačního systému do nabídky Grub2?

Jsem v Linuxu docela nový, ale v posledních dnech jsem se rozhodl to zkusit. Zkouším několik různých distribucí, abych se trochu seznámil s různými verzemi, a tohle je jediná věc, která mě opravdu dostala.

Začal jsem s Windows 7, pak jsem nainstaloval Ubuntu 13.10 (který funguje perfektně) a poté jsem nainstaloval Linux Mint. Nemám však způsob, jak nabootovat Linux Mint, a toho bych chtěl dosáhnout. Mým cílem je mít položku nabídky Linux Mint v nabídce Grub2, která se zobrazí při spuštění, aby šla spolu s položkami nabídky Ubuntu a Windows 7 (a několika dalšími, které ještě musím použít, jako je podnabídka Rozšířené možnosti Ubuntu a záznam v nabídce memtest).

V případě, že jsou některé z těchto informací potřeba, zde jsou některé informace z tabulky oddílů GParted a také části bootinfoscript výstup:

Informace o oddílech a popisy převzaty z GParted:

  1. /dev/sda1 je primární oddíl o velikosti 101,94 MiB se systémem souborů fat16 s příznakem „diag“
  2. /dev/sda2 je primární oddíl o velikosti 11,29 GiB se systémem souborů ntfs s příznakem „boot“ a štítkem „RECOVERY“. Podle /boot/grub/grub.cfg , zde sídlí zavaděč Windows 7. Nemám žádné problémy se zaváděním do Windows 7 z aktuální nabídky Grub2.
  3. /dev/sda3 je primární oddíl o velikosti 275,12 GiB se systémem souborů ntfs s označením „OS“. Tento oddíl obsahuje všechny mé soubory, které byly původně vytvořeny ve Windows, i když některé byly uloženy pomocí programů Ubuntu (zatím se při úpravách souborů napříč operačními systémy nic nepokazilo, ale dejte mi vědět, jestli je to z jakéhokoli důvodu špatné).
  4. /dev/sda4 je rozšířený oddíl 171,01 GiB. Tento oddíl je aktuálně připojen. Toto obsahuje odkládací oddíl, kromě logických oddílů pro Ubuntu 13.10 a Linux Mint 16:
    • /dev/sda5 je logický oddíl o velikosti 58,79 GiB se systémem souborů ext4, který obsahuje instalaci Linux Mint 16. V GParted říká, že bod připojení pro tento souborový systém je / . Toto je jediný oddíl, který má neprázdnou položku přípojného bodu. Nevím, co si o tom mám myslet, a také v současné době nevím o způsobu, jak nabootovat Linux Mint 16 tak, jak je aktuálně umístěn.
    • /dev/sda6 je oddíl o velikosti 19,56 GiB (věřím, že je považován za primární?) se systémem souborů „linux-swap“. Toto bylo vytvořeno automaticky, když jsem nainstaloval Ubuntu, ale zvětšil jsem jeho velikost ručně o asi 10 GB, když jsem měl několik problémů při instalaci Linux Mint 16. Linux Mint 16 je aktuálně úspěšně nainstalován, pokud mohu říci, ale nevím. Nevím, jak do toho nabootovat, jak jsem řekl dříve. Tento oddíl je aktuálně připojen.
    • /dev/sda7 je logický oddíl o velikosti 36,41 GiB se systémem souborů ext4, který obsahuje Ubuntu 13.10. Ubuntu 13.10 funguje docela dobře a právě v něm právě píšu tuto otázku. Tento oddíl je aktuálně připojený.

Zde je bootinfoscript výstup (je poměrně dlouhý a obsahuje grub.cfg stejně jako sudo fdisk -l info zde již bylo zveřejněno – některé však musely být vynechány kvůli omezení počtu znaků):
