Let’s Encrypt je široce známá certifikační autorita, která poskytuje bezplatné certifikáty X.509 SSL pro šifrování TLS. Byl spuštěn v dubnu 2016.
Let’s Encrypt automatizuje proces vytváření, ověřování, podepisování, implementace a obnovování certifikátů.
V současné době jsou pro automatizovaný proces podporovány Apache, Nginx, Plex a Haproxy.
Předpoklady
Než budete pokračovat, nastavte zásobník LEMP tak, aby měl Nginx ve vašem systému Ubuntu.

Nainstalujte Certbot
Chcete-li vygenerovat certifikát pro svou doménu, měli byste mít přístup k terminálu/shell a klienta Certbot ACME. Zvládá vydávání certifikátů a instalaci bez prostojů.
Chcete-li nainstalovat klienta Certbot, musíme nakonfigurovat Certbot PPA na Ubuntu.
sudo apt update sudo apt install -y software-properties-common sudo add-apt-repository universe sudo add-apt-repository ppa:certbot/certbot sudo apt update
Nyní nainstalujte klienta certbot.
sudo apt install -y certbot python-certbot-nginx
Vytvoření virtuálního hostitele Nginx
Nyní vytvoříme konfigurační soubor virtuálního hostitele pro doménu www.itzgeek.net.
Tento virtuální hostitel obsluhuje HTTP verzi vaší domény.sudo nano /etc/nginx/conf.d/www.itzgeek.net.conf

Vytvořte kořen dokumentu, do kterého budou uloženy soubory HTML.

Změňte oprávnění k adresáři.
sudo chown -R nginx:nginx /opt/nginx/
Umístěte testovací soubor HTML do kořenového adresáře dokumentů vaší domény.

Restartujte službu Nginx.

Aktualizovat/změnit DNS záznam
Otevřete svůj nástroj pro správu DNS nebo registrátora domény a vytvořte záznam A/CNAME pro doménu. Příklad:www.itzgeek.net.
Počkejte nějakou dobu, než se záznam rozšíří.
Zkontrolujte šíření DNS pomocí nástroje Nslookup sudo apt install -y dnsutils.
Nainstalujte Let's Encrypt SSL certifikát
Pomocí příkazu certbot vytvořte certifikát Let’s Encrypt ručně.
sudo certbot --nginx
Postupujte podle interaktivní výzvy a vygenerujte požadovaný certifikát.

Přesměrujte požadavky HTTP bez www na www HTTPS pomocí Nginx (volitelné)
Nyní nakonfigurujeme server Nginx tak, aby přesměroval provoz přicházející z webu bez www HTTP na web WW HTTPS, tj. http://itzgeek.net>> https://www.itzgeek.net .
Zde použijeme stejný konfigurační soubor, který jsme vytvořili pro HTTP verzi webu, abychom provedli přesměrování webu HTTP bez www na WW HTTPS.

Obnovení certifikátu Let's Encrypt SSL
Certifikáty Let’s Encrypt mají platnost 90 dní a je velmi vhodné si certifikáty před vypršením platnosti obnovit.
Díky vestavěné položce plánovače cron, která je dodávána s klientem Certbot. Tato úloha cron se spouští dvakrát denně, aby se obnovily certifikáty, kterým vyprší platnost.
Pomocí níže uvedeného příkazu můžete simulovat proces obnovy certifikátu, abyste zajistili hladký průběh obnovy.
